This is a class to help establish a simple baseline for all incoming aerial silks students. In this class, students will learn basic terminology, how to perform basic safe skills such as: wraps, foot locks, and how to climb the silk. Most students pass the class after one class. Occasionally, a second class is required.
Students will begin to explore the world of aerial silks. Aerial Arts requires great physical strength, so conditioning is a fundamental part of all classes in order to maintain and build strength. Beginners will learn and perfect basic wraps, wrist locks, foot locks, simple sequences, as well as pass off beginning strength and flexibility benchmarks.
